Staying Safe This Autumn |
||
Dear Resident As we move into autumn and winter, many of us will notice the evenings getting darker much earlier. This change in the season can bring safety challenges, both when we’re out and about and when we’re at home. I’d like to take a moment to share some simple steps you can take to help keep yourself, your family, and your belongings safe.
When you’re out in the community: If you’re walking alone, let someone know where you’re going and when you expect to be back.
For drivers and cyclists: Park in well-lit areas and always lock your vehicle.
At home: Keep doors and windows locked, even when you’re inside.
Your safety and wellbeing are our priority. By taking these small steps, we can all work together to keep Northamptonshire safe as the nights draw in.
If you ever feel unsafe or notice suspicious behaviour, please don’t hesitate to contact us on 101, or 999 in an emergency. Stay safe, | ||
